Draft — pending legal review

This is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before it takes effect. Text in highlighted brackets, such as [Business legal name — to be provided], marks details we have not filled in yet, and boxes labelled “Note for legal review” are questions for our reviewer. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law where you live.

The short version

  • We only sell Coins, at 100 Coins per US$1 with no bonus Coins (prices can change; the store shows current prices).
  • Stripe processes your payment. We never see your full card number.
  • Coins are added to your Minecraft account automatically the next time it is online on the network.
  • Your order history is on your account page.

This summary is for convenience. If it differs from the full text below, the full text applies.

1.When these terms apply

These Digital Goods Purchase Terms apply whenever you buy Coins from the UniversalMC Coin Store. The seller is [Business legal name — to be provided], which runs UniversalMC. The Terms of Service, the Virtual Currency (Coins) Policy, and the Refund Policy also apply to every purchase.

2.What you are buying

The only thing we sell is Coins: a quantity of our in-game virtual currency added to the network-wide Coin balance of a Minecraft account. Coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to other players. What Coins can be used for is described in the Virtual Currency (Coins) Policy.

At the time this draft was written, Coins were sold in these bundles:

Coin bundles and prices at the time of writing
PriceCoins
US$5500 Coins
US$101,000 Coins
US$202,000 Coins
US$252,500 Coins
US$505,000 Coins
US$10010,000 Coins

That is 100 Coins for each US$1, with no bonus Coins on larger bundles. Packages and prices can change. The package, price, and number of Coins shown in the Coin Store and on the Stripe payment page when you place your order are the ones that apply to that order.

3.Who can buy

  • You must be signed in to the website with a Minecraft account (using the in-game /link code).
  • If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or legal guardian must make or approve the purchase.
  • You must be allowed to use the payment method you pay with.

4.Prices, currency, and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency displayed in the Coin Store (currently US dollars). Your bank or card provider may charge its own fees, such as for currency conversion; those are not charged by us.

Depending on where you live, sales tax, VAT, or GST may apply to digital goods. If tax is charged on your order, it will be shown on the Stripe payment page before you pay.

5.Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Depending on your location and device, you can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other methods that Stripe makes available.

  • We never see or store your full card number or other full payment credentials.
  • Stripe asks for your email address so it can send you a receipt.
  • Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy (opens in a new tab) apply to the information you give Stripe.

6.How ordering works

  1. Choose a Coin package in the Coin Store while signed in.
  2. Check the Minecraft account, package, and price before you continue.
  3. You are taken to Stripe’s checkout page to pay.
  4. After Stripe confirms your payment, your order is marked as paid and your Coins are queued for delivery.

The checkout page links to the Terms of Service, the Virtual Currency (Coins) Policy, and the Refund Policy. By completing payment, you agree to them and to these purchase terms.

7.Delivery of Coins

Coins are delivered automatically to the Minecraft account the order was placed for. Delivery is tied to the account’s unique ID (UUID), not its username, so changing your Minecraft username does not affect delivery.

  • If that account is online on the network when payment is confirmed, the Coins are added while you play.
  • If it is offline, the Coins are added the next time the account joins the network.

If you have joined the network since paying and your Coins have not arrived, contact Support with your order ID.

8.Receipts and order history

Stripe emails a receipt to the address you enter at checkout. While signed in, you can see your past orders and their status on your account page. Please keep your order ID if you contact us about an order.

9.Failed payments and mistakes

  • If a payment fails or is cancelled, no Coins are delivered and you are not charged by us.
  • If a technical error gives an account the wrong number of Coins, staff may correct the balance.
  • If a package is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund the payment in full.

10.Refunds and chargebacks

How to ask for a refund, the rights you may have under the law where you live, and what happens to Coins after a refund or chargeback are explained in the Refund Policy and the Virtual Currency (Coins) Policy. We do not say that “all sales are final”; your legal rights always apply.
